Due to the mechanical production process, the mat may initially have an inherent odour, which disappears with use. We recommend airing the mat thoroughly or washing it by hand with cold or lukewarm water. Then wrap it in a towelling cloth, squeeze out the water and hang it up to dry. The mat remains non-slip and has a pleasant texture so that you can enjoy it for a long time.
