The tea tree is a Myrtle family and native from Australia. Even the Aborigines knew about the healing properties of tea tree oil. The essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of leaves of the Tea Tree Oil. It has a strong spicy smell, which is caused by the main active ingredient of tea tree oil Terpinen-4-ol.
In the early 1990s the tea tree oil was hardly known in Germany, though the Australians already very appreciated this home remedy. Then products are made with tea tree oil from the multiple application areas. Today our tea tree oil natural cosmetics series are proven many times and loved.
In addition to traditional located care properties tea tree products have also proven highly effective for blemished skin. The tea tree oil as pimple roller was developed specifically for the high demands for oily, irritated, or prone to pimples skin.
We find it important to use only the highest quality of tea tree oil. There are tea tree oils, which originate from plantations, which are harvested two to three times a year. These oils are of inferior quality, because the tree can’t fully develop.
