Soul Journey - Felix Maria Woschek CD

With Soul Journey, spiritual singer and composer Felix Maria Woschek continues his musical development and, after a long break, publishes a wonderful, devotional album with sacred music from different cultures.

Inspired by his numerous journeys around the world and the encounters with other musicians of his own wavelength, Felix Maria Woschek combines different traditions on his album Soul Journey and makes them to a harmonious whole:

The piece Sultans Blessings - Ishq Allah comes from the Sufi tradition and is based on Saranaghi melodies, which his late friend and teacher Ustad Sultan Khan had played during his lifetime.

Another touching piece is the new interpretation of Giulio Caccini's Ave Maria from the 16th century.

The Mantra Kyrie of the Christian mythology from the Russian Orthodox liturgy finds a radiant expression of unconditional love in the track The Essence – Kyrie.

The 35 minute track Soul Journey is based on the relation of the genetic code to the name of God Y-H-W-H and its permutations, as described by J.J. Hurtak in his book The Keys of Enoch. A piece that conveys deep peace and silence.
