Relaxation - Mata Mandir Singh & Friends CD

The third CD by Mata Mandir Singh & Friends in the Yoga of Sound series, Relaxation, contains wonderful Kundalini Yoga Mantras and Shabads with gentle melodies and soothing rhythms creating a realm of relaxation in which you can lean back and let things flow.

Relaxation is not the absence of stress, for stress is endemic in our society. If we are under stress, we cannot sleep, eat or digest well. Communication tends to be ineffective. It is more difficult to be patient, loving or helpful to other people. Many diseases are caused by stress. So if we can't avoid stress what we can do is find a place within ourselves that gives us the experience of stillness and detachment. The wonderful variations of mantras of this CD aid in this process.

One of Mata Mandir Singh's specialties is to invite other musicians to join into his music - on Relaxation, you will hear the ingenious guitar play of dutch guitarist Michael Benedik and the great singing of Gurudass Kaur which round up this album fantastically.
