This "Natural Yogamat" is, so to speak, a "primal" yoga mat – in India, such "yogarugs" traditionally serve as a base for yoga and various exercises.

Together with the craftsmen and -women who produce the Natural Yoga Rug, this high-quality and fairly produced product was developed locally in Tamil Nadu. In the structurally weak rural region of southern India, yoga rugs of this kind have been handmade on wooden looms for several generations. With the production, this traditional handicraft is preserved and supported and the craftsmen and -women are offered a fair, above-tariff payment.

The Natural Yoga Rug is slightly larger when unwashed (approx. 195 x 68 cm) – after the first machine wash at 30 degrees it shrinks to approx. 190 x 65 cm, after that it retains this size.
