Maharishi Nasya Oil (MP-16) cares for the skin of the nose and counteracts unpleasant drying. It is composed of a treasure of beneficial herbs, spices and other ingredients on the basis of fine sesame oil and contains, among others, vetiver, nut grass, cinnamon, cardamom and sandalwood.
Two to three drops daily in each nostril are part of the daily routine according to Ayurveda.
Ayurveda knows several types of watery, powdery, oily or other preparations for the nose. The application of these ancient formulations according to Ayurvedic tradition is called Nasya or Nasyam. According to time-tested Ayurvedic tradition, Nasya should be a regular part of the Ayurvedic routine and can be performed several times a day.
The small 10 ml glass bottle is a convenient companion for on the go and at home. Maharishi Nasya Oil is also available in a larger 50 ml bottle.
