Kutajarishta is one of the many Ayurvedic fermented or probiotic liquids, called Arishta, which are usually taken in small quantities as a drink as a daily food supplement.
Kutajarishta contains a very small percentage of home-made alcohol with a combination of supporting and balancing Ayurvedic herbs, such as "Kutaj" (Holarrhena antidysenterica), the "Fire-Flame Bush" (Woodfordia fructicosa) and the "Indian Butter Tree" (Madhuca indica).

Ingredients:
The lowest/highest recommended daily intake (30/60 ml) contains the following ingredients: Aqua (water) 18.4/36.8 ml, Vitis vinifera (grape) 4101/8202 mg, cane sugar (jaggery) 3000/6000 mg, alcohol 1.8/3.6 ml, Holarrhena antidysenterica 1092/2184 mg, Woodfordia fruticosa 765/1530 mg, Madhuca indica 657/1314 mg, Gmelina arborea 164/329 mg.
Preparation / Usage:
For adults: 2 x daily 15-30 ml with the same amount of water (see measuring cup). 6 % vol. alcohol
