Kara Black Gold – Mool Mantra

The Black-Gold Kara with the Mool Mantra is made in a special way: Pure gold is inlaid into the surface of the steel Kara, then the Kara is baked in an oven, creating the dark, almost black colour. This will disappear after a few weeks, but the gold inlay will remain permanently. This technique was used hundreds of years ago in Rajasthan to decorate ancient swords and daggers.
