The Original Maharishi Chyavanprash is a traditional Ayurvedic product which is manufactured according to the traditional original Ayurveda scriptures and contains only fully ripe Amla fruits, the precious bamboo product Vanshlochan and a large number of high-quality natural herbs, fruits, roots and spices, which are all very carefully harvested and further processed in the most pristine regions of the Himalaya and other parts of India.

One of the main ingredients of this wonderful and ancient recipe is Amalaki - the Indian Gooseberry. This fruit of the Amla tree contains a high percentage of vitamin C and is said to balance all three Doshas. It combines five directions of taste (all but salty). In classical Ayurveda texts, Amalaki is praised as one of the best and most important Rasayanas (life elixirs) in Ayurveda with a unique combination of positive qualities. In the authentic Ayurveda scriptures, Amalaki is even described as a "Divine Plant".

Original Maharishi Ayurveda Chyavanprash contains many more precious ingredients, for example Dashmool, whose exotic name stands for a valuable combination of ten different ayurvedic roots. Dashmool soothes all three Doshas, and above all Vata. Also the famous Indian long-grain pepper Pippali is part of this exceptional recipe, as well as Shatavari, the wild Indian Asparagus (which the Ayurveda traditionally recommends especially for women), the beautiful Vata-soothing Ashwagandha (the winter cherry, known as "Indian Ginseng") and a large number of other unique ingredients.
