The sweet, slightly sour mixture of the Blossoms & Sesame spice topping from Classic Ayurveda is made from tender lavender, cornflower and marigold blossoms, together with sesame and sunflower seeds, and suits both sweet and savoury dishes. It provides not only a wonderful flavor but also visually enriches all kinds of sweet foods, for example plum compote or porridge, and gives them a delicious finishing touch.
Also dishes with sweet vegetable varieties such as carrots, pumpkin or beetroot can be perfectly flavored with the Blossoms & Sesame spice topping and thereby improve their wholesomeness. In the Indian and Ayurvedic cuisine, these particular mixtures are also known as dry chutney.
