When Snatam Kaur, Tarn Taran Singh, and Jai Jeet Sangeet Singh started playing music together, they seemed to pierce through the clouds of rain at that time with the power of their sounds. They began their musical journey by playing at the Yoga Center every Wednesday and Friday morning for the sadhana meditations. After months and months of playing with candlelight in the cozy company of early morning meditators, they decided to put their chants onto a CD, and they called it Amrit Vela. This CD is truly a work of art from the heart.
The early morning hours before the dawn are know in ancient scriptures as "Amrit Vela". It is said that prayers and meditations done in those hours are more powerful than at any other time. The beautiful voice of Snatam, combined with the drums and guitars, creates a sense of deep meditation and peace. Give yourself the gift of an experience in the Amrit Vela.
