On the ancient property of the Chateau de Fondjouan in the heart of France near Blois in the Loire-Valley, each year up to 1500 people, Yogis and Yoginis, meet every year in summer for the one-week annual Kundalini Yoga Festival. One of the many highlights there is always the live performed music – with mantras and songs full of inspiration and loving expression, often accompanied by the hundreds of voices of the participants, building up to one single, giant choir.
This very unique energy is now captured for the first time on this double-CD Set. Moshik from the sound team recorded all events and concerts of 2007 live with multi-track technology, selected some of the best ones, and carefully mastered them into this unique CD-set. The result is a fascinating live-touch which allows you to dive deeply into the energy of this incredible experience.
Disc 1 contains a selection of different Mantras of different artists as well as the famous Gong-Meditation by Nanak Dev Singh and as another highlight the Festival-Meditation "I am the Light of the Soul" by Guru Dass Kaur.
Disc 2 contains a complete Sadhana (Morning meditations), accomplished by the "Yoga Nidra" of Satya Singh – a guided trance-meditation into the core of our being, embedded into beautiful angelic music performed by the group Mirabai Ceiba.
